2020 took many of us for a wild ride. Both a pandemic and a pivotal presidential election created a stressful environment as we moved our offices from boardrooms to bedrooms. Lockdowns, working from home and cancelled travel plans only added more stress, but there is light at the end of the tunnel as we approach the end of 2020.

Even with all the chaos 2020 brought, there is still cause for celebration this holiday season. Vaccines to battle COVID-19 are here, hopefully bringing an end to this virus that has plagued the world for over a year.

For Texans, exciting announcements of companies like HP, Tesla, and Oracle moving here will only boost the economy for years to come. It is proof that the state’s commitment to a business-friendly environment continues to pay off.

2020 may have brought many unforeseen changes to our lifestyles, but as the year comes to a close, it is now time to focus on a bright future. So, deck the halls & trim the tree because the holidays come but once a year.
